Just bored & stumbled across some links that I thought were pretty awesome that also lead me back to some sites I had forgotten about: brit graffiti artist Banksy, FreewayBlogger, Adbusters is a great magazine on consumer society, an interesting street art site for the Wooster Collective, ArtCrimes is graffiti art central but a bit dated, OBEY, and of course Stencil Revolution.

music update!

I've been listening to a lot of Bob Dylan recently, and apparently so have one of my favorite bands: BRMC. I was a little skeptical of them abandoning their sonic Jesus & Mary Chain sound, but man this is a great comeback album for a band dropped by Virgin Records not so long ago (like Virgin has anything better going on at the moment?). Definitely a spiritual journey that everyone should give a chance...you should also go see them if you get the chance now that they are touring again because they are brilliant live!

Here are a couple pics I've taken on recent walks downtown... Since I never have my good camera with me, I've finally realized that pics by camera phone are better than no pics at all. My Nokia 3660 takes surprisingly good (albeit low-res) wide-angle pics in a wide variety of lighting conditions. These are provided much as sketches are to a finished painting yet hopefully interesting to someone.
